Ramin Bahrani's brilliant 'Goodbye Solo' opens tomorrow in New York and Chicago. If you are near either one of those cities, or know anyone who is, please go/tell them to go. Immediately! I didn't see a post on your blog here about "Alien Trespass", but I saw it tonight and loved the "concept" -- including the ghota.
The Sputnik-era newsreels brought back a lot of memories of my own coming of age.
