Hi, was wondering about Before the Rains' international distribution especially Australia. Does Roadside do that? If so when/where? Santosh Sivan said in an interview that the film is also going to New Zealand, UK and Russia.

Unfortunately I'm not really sure about the international release dates. But you should be able to find out from the producers. Here is their site: echolakeproductions.com

I was just in NYC last week and saw the ads for this all over the neighborhood I was staying in. However I left last Thursday for home and missed getting to see it. Any chance it'll be playing in smaller towns or as part of the Emerging Cinema series (hint hint)? I'd hate to have only DVD as my option for seeing this.

The Fall won't be playing as part of the Emerging Cinema series. But it will be rolling out across the country in the coming months. Keep an eye on this link for upcoming dates: http://www.roadsideattractions.com/Catalog/ReleaseDates.asp?BusinessUnitID={BDC8C46C-7B42-42EA-AE44-4E14387B8A7D}&ProjectID={03422108-6027-4F09-B74A-4EFA02F1C2EF}

I got to meet Tarsem at Ebertfest a few weeks back where "The Cell" was one of the featured films. He came up to the projection booth to see if it was a domestic or international print.
