Yeah right. We wanna win! Congratulations to Starting Out In the Evening, which was just nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards by the fine folks at Film Independent. Frank Langella is up for Best Actor and Andrew Wagner and Fred Parnes will vie for Best Screenplay. If you want to vote for Starting Out, become a Film Independent member here. Just read that Before the Rains is being distributed by Roadside. Any idea when and where it'll screen?
It's not all been finalized yet. But my guess would be a regular arthouse rollout; NY and LA followed by other markets with speed/size determined by performance. But I will post real, actual details as soon as I have them.
