Well we are finally headed back from
Sundance. And after ten days of battling traffic jams, sleep-deprivation,
Metallica and about a hundred feet of
white powder (give or take) we are happy to report that we've finally found a film upon which both
Howard Stern and
PETA can agree.
Roadside Attractions and
Samuel Goldwyn Films have picked up North American distribution rights to the racy, riotous, relationship comedy
Stay, directed by
Bob (neé cat) Goldthwait and starring
Desperate Housewives' Melinda Page Hamilton. The movie played through the roof and had audiences howling (barking?) and tongues wagging throughout the festival. Here are
Variety's and
indiewire's takes on the deal, and
here's what the auteur himself had to say about the film. We haven't decided on a release date quite yet, but I will keep you posted.
